Why I think Mauritius is the PERFECT Holiday Destination. 

I was lucky enough to have been hosted by Beachcomber Tours back in June this year, I visited all of the properties I feature below and can highly recommend them!! 

Here is why Mauritius has won my heart as my new favourite holiday destination:

• Flying time - 12hrs direct…now I know that’s a lot..but..the Air Mauritius direct flight is overnight out & back, so you get a full day in resort both sides of your journey. Or why not fly indirectly? Maybe with Emirates, break up the journey with a couple of nights in Dubai!
• Time Difference is +3hrs so you don’t get the same jet lag you do when you head west! It’s absolutely possible to just do a 7nt stay!
• The weather is beautiful all year round, of course, it has rainy seasons and we were there in “winter”. The weather was a beautiful mid-20s, we had rain every day but it was short, sharp and usually mid-afternoon (great chance to hit the bar or have a “nanna nap”)!
• Mauritius is great value for money! You can get better deals to Mauritius this summer than you can get to Europe (and Mauritius won’t be so stiflingly hot!)
• There is so much to do! We stayed in the Shandrandi here you can water-ski, SUP & snorkel all included in the price! Not to mention the excisions! Cycling, walking, nature reserves (see HUGE giant tortoises, monkeys, and amazing wildlife), zip line, speed boats, swimming with dolphins IN THE WILD!
