Yes, the flight is long, but the time difference is small (just +3hrs in Summer).

In UK Summer the temperatures in Mauritius are much lower than Europe, making it the perfect destination for those wanting to avoid the searing heat of Greece or Turkey.

I have been lucky enough to visit this beautiful island twice now, I can confirm it is one of the safest places I have travelled, the locals are wonderful, the food out of this world and the resorts can’t be beaten.

A huge shout out to Elaine for putting together the perfect holiday! Everything went seamlessly. All our transfers were waiting. We were in safe hands with professional friendly drivers. The most fabulous hotels in perfect locations were exactly what we were looking for. The cruise was beyond our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble for Elaine. She always came straight back to me with any queries. For us, it was just so great to relax knowing everything had been taken care of. Highly recommend her.

Nicky was a wonderful help when we were totally overwhelmed with options (most unsuitable) she offered us limited, suitable suggestions which completely met our brief resulting in a holiday which was just what we wanted and perfect for us. With a friendly, personal touch with excellent communication and reassurance Nicky gave us full confidence and removed all the unknown. I’m so glad that we found Nicky - we asked her for recommendations for a resort holiday for 3 kids under 7 and she definitely delivered. We were getting so overwhelmed with our options and Nicky took all the stress away. The resort was perfect, Nicky arranged all the details and transfers for us so that all we needed to do was turn up.

Recently returned from our first ski trip without our adult children. The trip was arranged by Nicky from Globally Mine, and I couldn't be happier with the experience!
