Our Antigua Trip October 2025
We visited Antigua (& Barbados) in October 2025, following our touring holiday to Costa Rica.
Antigua is obviously a fabulous destination in itself, but also a great add-on to the adventure of Costa Rica.
Just a 1 hr flight from Barbados, or you can fly direct with BA from London, or with a touchdown in Barbados with Virgin.
Technically, the hurricane season; however, it is unusual for it to be affected, it is, of course, a risk, it was badly hit by Irma in 2017.

Very lush, green and less built up and populated than Barbados, it is a beautiful island.
Shirley Heights is a must-visit, on Thursdays and Sundays, with Reggae nights and sunset parties.
You can snorkel at the beautiful Cades Bay, or visit Sting Ray City.
