Sadly the legacy of the last-minute holiday bargain is a dying breed. What Lastminute.com based their brand on does exist but finding cheap deals is harder and harder, especially if you are tied to school holidays and dates, and there are more than 2 of you! As a family with kids of any age, the best time to book your holiday is as early as possible!

Airlines release seats 11 months in advance, this is in fact the best time to book (or even before 11m). The first seats to be released are the cheapest, and they then go up in value as seats get sold.

Many good resorts also get booked up a year in advance! If you need a specific room set up, adjoining rooms, or maybe rooms with extra beds for more children, or maybe you want an ocean view then the earlier you request, the more chance there is of you getting your perfect choice!

So as a rule, for that big family holiday, where you really want a specific resort, you know there is a budget the golden rule is to get in early.

3. You can spread the cost over the year, many tour operators work on a low deposit, and you can then spread that cost throughout the year. We can book flights, accommodation, transfers, excursions, car hire and more, so you know when it comes to your holiday you have paid the majority of what you will need.

Although airlines release seats 11 months in advance, you can book your holiday, in some cases up to 18 months + in advance. We work with tour operators who offer "Out of Date Range" flights, which means they make an educated guess as to the cost of the flights. You book your holiday based on this educated guess. You pay your deposit and secure it. When the flights are released if prices have significantly changed you get the chance to stick with your holiday or cancel and receive a full refund. 

We have other tour operators that will make that same educated guess, but they tie the price in, so you pay your deposit and regardless of how much the flights are when they are released, you simply pay what was agreed.
