Best Family Ski Resorts
Check out our BEST Family Ski Resorts
As an avid skier and someone who has skied from a relatively young age and also taken my kids pretty young, I have hand-picked some fab resorts that I think are perfect for families.
The MOST important thing to consider when skiing with kids, is location, location, location! Let's all be honest, skiing is faffy! There is lots of equipment, you are either freezing cold or boiling hot and tempers can get frayed (I speak from vast experience of both being a child of the slopes and a parent).
So choosing a hotel close to ski school and the slopes is a must! I am a HUGE fan of Club Med for total beginners, why? Because it is ALL INCLUDED and you don't need to worry about anything!
Skiing is a very pricey holiday & hobby, and although Club Med may appear to be highly-priced at first glance, those that have skied in the past know how quickly those costs can add up!
Lift passes are usually around £2/300pp, ski hire £100-150pp, lessons a similar price, then add up a hugely inflated Vin Chaud or plate of pommes frites up the mountain and you can empty your pockets pretty quickly!
I can tailor a ski holiday to you, so if you want to begin your very own tailored Ski Holiday journey CONTACT ME and we can start today.
Austria - Zell Am See
One of Austria's top ski resorts the scenery is STUNNING with its lakeside setting and gorgeous old town. I have always loved Austria as there is so much to do aside from Skiing. Don't get me wrong I LOVE skiing, but I also love being in the mountains and all the other fun you can have alongside Skiing. Zell Am See offers an Alpine Coaster, where you can sledge down 1.3km of track! Or how about a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the village or even ice skating at the local rink.
