Hi, I’m Jo,

I grew up in Singapore, which meant travel was just part of life from an early age.  Asia was on the doorstep, and we used it.  Different countries, different cultures, different ways of doing things.  I was hooked early, and I haven’t stopped since.

After university, I managed a remote safari bush camp in Zambia – a very different kind of travel education.  Less sightseeing, more understanding that the location is only ever part of it.  It’s the details, the experience, everything around it that stays with you.

But the part I love most isn’t just the travelling.  It’s the research.  The digging.  The matching of the right place to the right person at the right moment – and knowing the difference between somewhere that looks good on paper and somewhere that will actually deliver.

That’s what I bring to Globally Mine.

I’ve also got two kids of my own, so when it comes to family travel, I know exactly what needs thinking through.

When you come to me with a holiday, I’m not pulling from a list of popular picks.  I’m thinking about you, your family, your relationship, what you want to feel on that trip, and what you’ll still be talking about years from now.

Because a good holiday isn’t just a booking. It’s a memory you haven’t made yet.
