Family Safari Holiday Ideas

Family Safari Kenya 

Kenya is known as the birthplace of Safari, here you will find the big 5 plus wildebeest, zebra, giraffe and so much more.

How about staying at Giraffe Manor in Nairobi a stunning colonial-style manor house which is surrounded by creeping ivy which the giraffe LOVE to eat each morning. You can quite literally have breakfast with a Giraffe!

Or you could safari in the Masai Mara and watch the great migration! 

When To Go: 
The "Dry Season" is a great time to see all the wildlife (July - September) this also coincides with The Great Migration of Wildebeest & Zebra! 

You are advised to take Malaria tablets & yellow fever certificate may also be required 

How about teaming a safari in Kenya with a beach stay in either Dinai Beach (Mombassa) or Zanzibar to give you the ultimate relaxation after a stunning safari trip! 

Family Safari South Africa 

South Africa is home to Kruger National Park, another unbelievable destination home to the Big 5.

The Eastern Cape in South Africa is home to a number of game reserves, all of which are malaria-free, making this a great choice for those with younger children.

When To Go:

South Africa is a year round destination. May to September is great as the cooler weather in the Northern Regions brings great conditions to view big game.

November to February can be rainy but still warm. 

Camps Bay in South Africa is a great place to decompress after Safari or what about flying over to Mauritius to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Indian Ocean!
